“We Climb Because They Climbed”

Event Details

On 9/11/2001 when the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center fell, 411 first responders lost their life. Every year, all over the country, stair climbs are held to remember those that paid the ultimate sacrifice trying to save others. The Twin Towers were 110 floors tall, so we climb 110 floors in their honor. The evening of the stair climb, PFAM hosts a concert to raise funds for the First Responders Benevolence Fund of Midland. Wade Bowen is this year’s headliner.

Land of the Free,

because of the Brave.

September 11th marks the anniversary of a day that most of us promised to never forget.

Join us as firefighters, law enforcement, EMS personnel, and civilians from the West Texas region and beyond are supported by members of the community, coming together for a day of extreme physical challenge and intense reflection in a truly inspirational setting.

Together we will honor New York's Bravest and Finest who sacrificed their lives on September 11, 2001 as well as our local heroes; while supporting the families who have survived them.
